Congregational Prayer – Lord, I am grateful for the grace you bestow upon me through my belief in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I know I am far from perfect, but through the power of your grace I strive to be faithful, obedient and honest. Lord, I recognize that the world in which we all live is so far removed from the Garden of Eden! There is so much to fear, so much to dread, so much to anguish over – how can we all cope? Life is dangerous, as attested to in the news. Yet, Lord, you call us to trust, to not worry, to seek your peace. Fill me Lord, with your peace, that I will overcome any fear and doubt. Thank you, Lord, for your steadfast love, especially in the difficulties of trauma and distress. In your grace I pray. Amen.
